1. Man City are to make an improved bid for Everton's Jolean Lescott after their initial bid for 15million pounds was rejected by Everton
2. Ex-Liverpool full back has joined Portsmouth on a one year deal
3. David Villa has reitrated his desire to stay at Valencia for atleast a year with reports emerging that Manchester United and Chelsea are in hunt to sign the Spanish Hit Man.
4. Reputed Spanish Journalist Guilleme Balague has said that no bid has been made by Manchester United for Sergio Aguero.

In my opinion Manchester United need to reinforce their midfield rather than buying another striker, but if the right player is available at the right price then they should go for it. Manchester United has also been linked with David Silva. If this deal happens then it would be interesting to see wether Nani stays at United or he is shipped out to another club.
